There is another gathered info around net on Guitar Hero III cheats & tips

CHEATS!!!

All Items Available

To make every item available at the in-game store, insert the following lengthy cheat at the in-game cheats menu. Keep in mind that because you’re strumming using four buttons, no sounds will play. You’ll have to check the store when you’re done inserting the password to see if it worked: Green/Red/Blue/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Green/Red/Yellow/Orange, Green/Blue/Yellow/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Red/Yellow/Blue/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Green/Yellow/Blue/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Green/Red/Yellow/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Orange, Green/Red/Yellow/Blue, Green/Red/Yellow/Orange.

Hyperspeed

To acquire Hyperspeed, you must go to the in-game cheat menu and enter:

Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Orange, Yellow.

No Failure

If you don’t want to fail a song, insert this code in the in-game cheat menu. But it will not work in Career Mode:

Green & Red, Blue, Green & Red, Green & Yellow, Blue, Green & Yellow, Red & Yellow, Orange, Red & Yellow, Green & Yellow, Yellow, Green & Yellow, Green & Red.

Performance Mode

To unlock Performance Mode, insert the following notes in the Options menu: Red & Yellow, Red & Blue, Red & Orange, Red & Blue, Red & Yellow, Green & Blue, Red & Yellow, Red & Blue.

Precision Mode

To unlock Precision Mode, insert the following notes in the Options menu: Green & Red x3, Red & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Yellow & Blue, Yellow & Orange, Yellow & Orange, Green & Red x3, Red & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Yellow & Blue, Yellow & Orange x2.

Unlock All Songs

Yellow+Orange chord, Red+Blue Chord, Red+Orange chord, Green+Blue chord, Red+Yellow chord, Yellow+Orange chord, Red+Yellow Chord, Red+Blue Chord, Green+Yellow chord, Green+Yellow chord, Yellow+Blue chord, Yellow+Blue chord, Yellow+Orange chord, Yellow+Orange chord, Yellow+Blue chord, Yellow, Red, Red+Yellow Chord, Red, Yellow, Orange OR:

(YO) (RB) (RO) (GB) (RY) (YO) (RY) (RB) (GY) (GY) (YB) (YB) (YO) (YO) (YB) Y R (RY) R Y O

This won’t unlock all songs in career mode, nor any boss battles.

Unlocking the Air Guitar

To get the Air Guitar, you must enter the following in the in-game cheat menu:

Blue & Yellow, Green & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Red & Yellow x2, Blue & Yellow, Green & Yellow x2, Red & Blue x2, Red & Yellow x2, Green & Yellow x2, Red & Yellow x2.

TIPS!!!

Battle Lou in Easy Mode

To battle with Lou using Easy Mode notes, try the following. When the battle with Lou begins (on Expert Mode), strum without holding any frets down. When you lose, select the Tutorial option at the Game Over menu. Do the Guitar Battle Tutorial and play through it in its entirety. After the “Lesson Complete” message appears on-screen and the next fret board appears, pause the game and exit. This will bring you back to the Lessons menu.

From here, press the red button, which will bring you back to the list of songs. The battle with Lou should be highlighted. Choose the song, and Lou’s note chart will be set to Easy Mode now. Your note chart will still be in Expert Mode, but Lou’s will be in easy mode.

Faster Note Hitting

If there’s a part in a song which has a ton of notes really close together, try strumming up and down, instead of just up or just down. Trust me, you’ll hit a lot more notes this way.

Get to the Orange Button

Here is a good tip on how to get to the orange button:

Have your first finger on Red, and then so on and so forth, and when Green comes by, bring the first finger over from Red to Green.

Hit all notes even when you have Amp Overload

If you’re opponent uses Amp Overload on you, you can just look over at his fretboard and see what the notes are.

NOTE: This only works when playing onlinle.
OTHER NOTE: It only works if you havn’t used any battle power things on your opponent.

Thanks to http://www.workoutwithwii.com for original content! Great site they have there, check it out!

To read all the tips, click the article title for the full page.

These tips and tricks come from searching through the net. let me know if there is any new ones you have discovered or if you know any we missed:
    Bowling

    • If you position yourself far enough to the left (or the right) and aim towards an opponent’s lane, you can knock down their pins. Try putting spin on the ball and experiment with the angle, it is quite difficult to knock down their pins, but if you manage to hit any of their pins it counts toward your score!

  • The bowling ball seems to go much straighter if you release it high in the air, or if you throw it slowly with no spin.
  • Change bowling ball color: As The screen is fading to black for bowling, hold down the control pad until it fades to bowling for these colors:
  • Code Effect
    Control Pad Up Blue Ball
    Control Pad Right Gold Ball
    Control Pad Down Green Ball
    Control Pad Left Red Ball

    • Scare the crowds while bowling: Start the regular motion for bowling and let go on the back swing. The ball will fly backwards and the crowd will scream and jump.
    • Get a Strike on the 91 Pin lane: In training mode you can get a strike on the 91 pin lane by rolling the ball along either the left or right rail all the way to the end. This will trigger an explosion and all the pins will fall down adding 182 (91 * 2) to your score.

    Boxing

Here is a list of control motions for Wii Boxing (from GameSpot Forums posting):

High Guard: Hold Wiimote and Nunchuck vertically, then tilt both controllers inward toward your body to cover face.

Mid Guard: Hold Wiimote and Nunchuck parallel to ground, then tilt both controllers inward if still not covering center of body.

Left Dodge: Hold Wiimote and Nunchuck vertically, then tilt both controllers to your left.

Right Dodge: Hold Wiimote and Nunchuck vertically, then tilt both controllers to your right.

Right High Jab: Hold Wiimote vertically, with controls facing yourself, and jerk it forward with the wrist. Helps to keep arm stationary, and just let the Wiimote fall forward.

Right Mid Jab: Hold Wiimote parallel to ground, and jerk downward. Again, keep arm stationary and just push Wiimote downward with wrist.

Right High Hook: Hold Wiimote vertically, with controls facing yourself, and rotate it quickly to the left, as in this (please forgive my ASCII art):

    BEFORE:
    ____
D
A
1
2

    AFTER:
    ___________
D A 1 2

Right Uppercut: Hold Wiimote parallel to ground, and then jerk upward. It’s the exact opposite movement from the Right Mid Jab.

Right Low Hook: Hold Wiimote parallel to ground, but turn it 90 degrees COUNTER-CLOCKWISE so that the face of the Wiimote is looking out to your left, then jerk it in the direction of the face of the controller. It’s exactly like the right uppercut, except the entire motion is rotated to the left 90 degrees.

Left High Jab: Hold Nunchuck up vertically so that the analog stick is facing you, and then jerk it forward. Just like Right High Jab.

Left Mid Jab: Hold Nunchuck parallel to ground, and jerk it downward. Just like the Right Mid Jab.

Left Uppercut: Hold Nunchuck parallel to ground, and jerk it upward. Just like Right Uppercut

Left Hook: Hold Nunchuck parallel to ground, but turn it 90 degrees CLOCKWISE so that the face of the controller is looking out to your right, then jerk it in direction of the face of controller. Basically just like the Right Mid Hook.

    • Turn your Boxing Gloves Silver: After you’ve beaten the Grand Champion, Matt, in a boxing match you’ll be able to wear silver boxing gloves. To do so, hold (1) when the screen becomes black before a boxing match.

    Golf

    • Putt better: Press (1) on the controller to see the break of the green and use this to line up your putt. You can also press (2) to get a lower, closer view of the green.
    • Play Golf without maps or meters: To disable the power meter, map, and the wind speed indicator, press and hold (2), then make a selection at the “Select a Course” screen.

    Baseball

    • Pitch Underhand sidearm(thanks dan): While pitching, press 2 before throwing. To return to normal pitching press 1

    Tennis

    • Change the tennis court: To change the tennis court to the blue practice court, press and hold (2) at the warning screen that shows after selecting characters.
    • Play Ping-Pong Tennis: You can place yourself on both sides of the net in a single player game and play against yourself, which is quite challenging. In addition, if you’re really masochistic, you can do a 4 player doubles with only you involved.

    Adjusting Wiimote Volume/Rumble:

Hit Menu on any screen, click the Wii Remote Settngs on the bottom. You can now adjust Remote Volume, Vibrate.
You can also reconnect a controller if you need to change batteries or have to blame something for your lousy bowling (hehe).

    Rearranging the Main Menu/Channel screen:

Just hover over the channel you want to move and hold A and B on the Wiimote and grab and move your channel.

    How Friends work:

To make a ‘friendship’ with a pal, you both need to add each others Wii numbers in your address book. Once you do, you can send a message or Mii’s to them.

You can also add your friends’ or own email addresses to the Wii address book to allow your self to send emails to your wii to make light blue (http://www.tech-recipes.com/rx/1869/nintendo_wii_get_dvd_slot_glow).

Also, you can associate a Mii they’ve sent or made to their entry in your address book by clicking in the upper left area of the card.

Rearranging messages on your message board:

Just hover over one, hold A and B on your remote and it will let you grab and move them.

    Mii Channel Tips:

I love the Mii channel and playing around in it a lot!.
-You can move using the control pad and zoom in and out w/the - and + buttons. If you hold down the B button you can scroll by pointing
-Once you have added a few friends, their Mii’s will start to mingle in the Mii Parade area. So be sure to have some Mii’s setup to mingle! i have Mr T and my collection of ex-world leaders!
-Head over to Miipages.com to find some friends to add and send/get Mii’s.

    Photo Channel Tips:

-Again, this channel is a fun one to have when having a party, i like to have a slideshow of pics i’ve taken of my pals and mp3s on the sd card play as background. looks great on a hdtv.
-You can take a screenshot of any video that you have playing on your Wii, just go to post and then post the photo to your message board. you can now send it to yourself or any of your friends. This works the same for normal photos too.
