Japan Getting Three New DSi Colors
The DSi hasn't been on Japanese store shelves for more than a few months, but Nintendo is already preparing to launch a second wave of brightly colored handhelds across the pond. Nintendo announced today that they'll begin selling the DSi in Japan in three brand new colors -- pink, green, and metallic blue -- starting Friday, March 20.
It's kind of a bummer that Japan will already be getting their sales-reinvigorating color variants of the DSi nearly a month before the we get the standard black and blue units on April 5. That lime green one especially has this writer pondering the ups and downs of importing. Then again, $195-plus on a third DS probably isn't the best investment in this economic climate.
