Rock Band Offering DLC from Nirvana, Night Ranger Next Week
More Nirvana DLC is lined up for Rock Band next week, including the long-awaited "Smells Like Teen Spirit." Also scheduled for Rock Band's post-Thanksgiving DLC update are three tracks from '80s superstars Night Ranger.
Each track will go for the standard $1.99 (160 Microsoft points; 200 Wii Points) a pop, with both of the three-packs set for a discounted $5.49 (440 Microsoft points) each. The following downloads should turn up on the Xbox 360 and Wii next Tuesday, December 1, and on the PlayStation 3 that Thursday, December 3:
- "Come As You Are (Live from MTV Unplugged)" by Nirvana *
- "Lithium (Live at Reading)" by Nirvana
- "Smells Like Teen Spirit" by Nirvana
- "(You Can Still) Rock in America" by Night Ranger *
- "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" by Night Ranger *
- "You're Gonna Hear It From Me" by Night Ranger *
As with last week, there's been no announcement of upcoming downloads for Rock Band Unplugged. It's unclear if the developers are simply taking a break, or if they've given up on supporting the handheld game altogether -- either way, PSP fans are surely beginning to feel neglected.
